When praying in English, our devotional life is made more profound and eloquent if we are provided with beautiful language and prayers. The Book of Divine Worship is a Catholic adaptation of the Book of Common Prayer for the Anglican Rite. It includes the traditional Morning Prayers, Noonday Prayers, Vespers and Compline, the Book of Psalms in the exquisite King James Version, and other prayers and collects of the traditional Church in liturgical English.
It only remains to produce a version of the Book of Divine Worship with facing translations of the prayers in their original Latin version to unite these traditional prayers in their English translation to their historic sources in the Catholic breviary. That is a project of this apostolate. If you pass this way and are so kind, please pray for our effort that we may be able to complete this project, obtain the imprimatur and a publisher, and so present in the most beautiful form possible, prayers which will sustain us here on earth and one day, bring us to heaven.
